Late one afternoon, Sammy takes his toy rabbit, Tom, out to the back field on the farm to see the real, wild rabbits. Tom Rabbit is happy with 

Sammy. But then Sammy goes into the house for supper, leaving Tom all alone. When the moon rises and the wild rabbits come, what will they think of a little toy rabbit like Tom? And most important of all, will Sammy come back to bring Tom home?
